HGC® Wintergold®

One of the most popular Christmas Roses is Wintergold^®. The variety got its beautiful name from the plenitude of anthers that make its centre appear a golden yellow colour. Wintergold^® often has six instead of five petals and, consequently, a denser ring of petals. The petals turn greenish as they fade, which creates a very beautiful ornamental effect. Wintergold^® is easy to care for and highly suitable for container plantings or decorating gravesides. Arranged in combination with red eastern teaberries (Gaultheria procumbens), variegated white and green sedges (Carex morrowii) and decorative pinecones, they make gorgeous Christmas decorations.
