This interesting Helleborus species possesses deeply subdivided leaves. The leaves may be divided into 100 up to 200 segments. The origin of this species is located in Northeast Italy. These plants are winter dormant and blooming later than the two
other Italian species, H. bocconei and H. liguricus.
H. abruzzicus belongs to the acaulescent species. |
